The EEB project focused on the definition of innovative solutions for the improvement of energy efficiency in public buildings and, specifically, in historical or listed buildings, where an extensive retrofit is more difficult and the use of non-invasive technologies is necessary. To this end, the project proposed a pervasive use of technologies for real-time monitoring and control of environmental parameters, energy consumption and production, also within the Smart Grid scenario.
